North America - open access food chain traceability reports

This online service provides a means of accessing comprehensive traceability reports on items of food. The food item must have a STG Code (human readable or bar code) in order to use this system. Traceability reports contain a back-track and a forward-track to generate traceability maps showing the last-reported geographic locations of all food items from the same batch.

This service allocates STG Codes and monitors the local, national and international movement of food items down the food chain.

STG (Seel-Telesis®-Global) is a standardized food chain traceability coding system which enables the generation of vertical and horizontal traceability reports and maps for food items. The STG system was developed by SEEL; more information can be obtained on this coding system at the AgroTraceability website.
