Navatec bar-mouse is an innovative two button PC mouse with a scroll wheel and an integrated barcode reader which can be activated by a tiny button on the side. Navatec bar-mouse attaches to a PC using using a USB 4 pin connector. Using computer power there is no need to recharge or replace batteries. Not used by others and "left" elsewhere. It will operate under Microsoft®Windows® 98/98SE, 2000, Me, NT, XP operating systems. It decodes JAN, UPC, ITF (Interleaved 2-of-5), NW-7, code 39, code 128 and UCC/EAN-128, EAN-13, STG & STI barcodes. Accepts up to 48 digits per scan at a rate of 5-70 cm/second. It reads the characters A through Z and 0 through 9. The post-amble signal sent to the computer after a successful reading is a line feed and carriage return, equivalent to keyboad Return or Enter. This signal is also a standard field "delimiter".
Bar-mouse is the "reader of choice" for all Navatec.com online applications and it is supported through drivers for printing bar codes on documents and labels using standard printers. All hardware and online services supplied have full warranty and technical support. Hardware warranty is 12 months and technical support for online services continues for the duration of the service.
