Navatec Navatec is a systems engineering house that applies state-of-the-art proven technologies through design of utilization techniques for different online applications. We were founded in 1996 to transfer spin-off from the Seel-Telesis™ applied research & development programme at SEEL1 (Systems Engineering Economics Lab) to cost-effective online business,
Some of our work is described in the sections accessible via the menu items above. Navatec maintain a dedicated applications prototype demonstration, assessment and bench mark testing service specialising in agricultural and commodities sectors applying low risk systems engineering approaches to the development of cost-effective online systems ( AgroInfoSys.eu ). Recent work has involved the reinitiation of work on the Plasma Data Base concept. In the past hardware capabilities were not adequate for this powerful data-intensive approach to data base design and operations. The advent of solid state storage devices has given Plasma a new lease of life and we are working closely with SEEL on this development ( PlasmaDB.com ). Recently, our founder, launched a website on Power ECMAScripting which explains some of the advantages of moving JavaScript outside the constraints of client side operations to promote user economy by taking advantage of the more significant resources available on the server side. We have worked with server side ECMAScript extensions for over a decade ( Power-ECMAScripting.com ). 1 SEEL was founded in 1983 by Hector McNeill to capture and develop world wide state of the art technologies to develop cost-effective solutions to the evolving "global communications system". This work was initiated before the WWW existed and started with developments based on packet switching applications with an emphasis on satellite, low cost wireless-based personal, business and government data communications. This also included the specification of mobile computerised telephones and accompanying market analyses accurately forecasting (25 years ago) the growth in mobile telephony apps in China and India during the last the last decade. |
