Sinking Fund

This function estimates the size of individual, equal, end-of-period payments required to achieve a given future worth at the end of the last period.

Sinking funds can be set up to cover costs that will arise in the future.  For example this calculator estimates the amount of money that has to be set aside in each period (year) to cover an identified cost such as equipment replacement.
